im getting a wii but im worried about the sensor bar as i have a tv bracket quite high in my room?
were shall i put the wii sensor bar ,will it work as my tv is quite high as ive got a tv bracket.and does the wii mote and sensor bar have to be 100 percent directly next to each other.also when u buy the wii with the wii sports is the sensor bar wireless.please please answer this question i NEED HELP thankyou

Hey, No, the Wii remote and sensor bar do not need to be exactly in line, although it is better if they are.
I would suggest for your cirsumstances, to stick the sensor bar under your TV with some sticky tape, then select in the Wii Options that your sensor bar is UNDER the TV.

Also, the sensor bar is NOT wireless, there is a very long and thin wire so that it can get power from the Wii.
all you have to do is point in the direction where your sensor bar is located at.. it doesnt have to be 100 percent directly next to each other.
Yes, the sensor should be right next to the TV; otherwise, you won’t be aiming at the TV like you’re supposed to. It’ll be fine if you tape it to the top of your TV. No, the sensor bar isn’t wireless. You can purchase a wireless sensor bar from your local electronics store, but I can’t give you any insight into how good it is.
The sensor can be either on top of the TV or underneath it. You should have no problem at all.
Sensor bar is not wireless out of the box, but there are 3rd party options for it.
Also, i am not specifially clear on the range of the wii remotes but it should be about 30 ft, maybe more.

i say use the sticky tape it comes with and put it under the tv. but there also is a wireless sensor bar that you can purchase separate for 20 bucks

The sensor bar isn’t wireless, but the wire is pretty darn long. I think that it has stick stuff on it, so you can just stick it to your tv. Yay!
