What mounting brackets can be used on a media center like ones from Crate and Barrel?
I bought a Simplicity mounting set from costco but when I called customer service they said it should really only be used on wall studs. Can’t find something to use with the media center, and C&B was no help.

Hard to answer your question without knowing the weight of your media center. If it has any weight, you need to have at least one screw hit a stud. Otherwise it will just pull out of the drywall.
